During my complicated journey with endometriosis, I became interested in the healing power of food. My philosophy behind Eating for Endo is more than just a diet, it’s a lifestyle. A lifestyle that’s easy to follow and that will change your life forever.

Before I was diagnosed with endo in 2013, I wasn't living out my Eating for Endo philosophy. I drank, smoked, over indulged in confectionary and processed foods, and I didn’t take pride in looking after myself physically, mentally or emotionally. My sleeping pattern was all over the place and as a result I began to gain weight and my undiagnosed endo symptoms flared up. Little did I know that what I was putting into my body and the pressure it was under was causing my endo symptoms to worsen.

 After I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2013, my life changed forever. Now that I knew what I was battling, I could focus on how to beat it.

Everyday more research emerges supporting nutrition as an important means of managing the symptoms of endometriosis. By following a routine of low impact exercise and combining it with the right food, supplements and lifestyle changes, my endometriosis symptoms improved and I have been able to take back control of my life.
